They also refused to let me check in early so I had to sit and wait for hours since they refused to give me a boarding pass until I came all the way back to ticketing exactly and only exactly at 2 hours before boarding. Worst flight. A total shame since the crew was incredibly nice. Pros: "Time of the flight. TSA pre check was good. I did not realize the only thing free was a little glass of water. The worse was if there is a little turbulence you are not allowed to get up to use the toilet.

The stewardess would not allow my wife to use the restroom and was very rude about it. I have never heard of that on any other airline. Pros: "Buying their bundle through Frontiers website that includes a checked bag, a carry-on, a seat, and zone one boarding was worth it for this airline. The flight attendants were very stuck up and played on their tablets and phones for the duration of the flight, ate pizza, and looked to be drinking too. Not much customer help, but that's also because no complimentary items are given through frontier, no even a half cup of soda. There are no bonus features on board like wi-fi or tv's on seat backs to order tv or movies. The price of flight was offset by the cost of bags and seat, so I ended up paying the same as I would have via United.

I will not be flyin Frontier again. Pros: "It was cheap! You get what you pay for I had forgot that there were absolutely NO additional frills with this airline You get one cup of water and absolutely nothing else. Their fees are very unusual and the PHX staff did not inform me of the fees but on my way back the Seattle employees did in a very rude manner. When I ask the agent why it was the recommended during purchase, she said I should have read the full terms and conditions during checkout.

To me, this was a true scam. She told me that I could appeal the conditions of the travel insurance, but I would have to present a death certificate of the friend's baby that had just passed - the reason the baby shower was cancelled, and the reason this trip was cancelled. It was appalling. I tried calling Frontier directly, but their reservation desk was closed due to their system being down. I ended up not able to cancel the flight or even speak w a Frontier rep before my flight departed. In all, I was given 6 different numbers or lines to call to sort through this situation. All I did was waste hours of my time. This was a terrible situation where I feel like I was the victim of a scam.

Then, the Departure board at the airport totally dropped the flight, Then again thru Kayak I read that the flight would NOT board in terminal 1, Gate 21, Domestic terminal, but ar gate A3 in the International terminal. We all had to exit domestic and go to international and again through TSA. Then the flight departed another 30 minutes late finally over 2 hours LATE! Upon arrival at Phoenix the plane taxied too far away from the exit ramp-another 40 minutes before we could depart. It was an awful flight experience.

Speaking of seats, these were plastic, tiny, and uncomfortable. Speaking of uncomfortable, the plane felt like it was going to fall apart with even a hint of turbulence. Overall not great and I may have to go elsewhere for plane trips in the future.

When I arrived at the airport I was told that actually the aircraft stopped in Dallas and continued on to Phoenix.

Since I wasn't changing planes, to them its considered non-stop. There definitely was a stop. I thought, maybe I was a lucky guy because my flight was simply delayed and not cancelled. When we boarded our flight three hours later and after all passengers were settled and seat-belted in, Spirit made a PA announcement that the flight would only be travelling to Dallas and not continuing on to Phoenix. Mind you at this point, it is literally midnight and there were families and elderly people on board. About 1 minute later an announcer came back on the PA and said, and I quote, "Don't ask us any questions about the flight and you can't get off".

Everyone looked at each other like wtf is happening here. All in all, we landed in Dallas, and those of us continuing on to Phoenix were booked again on either American Airlines or Delta flight by Spirit Airlines for first thing the next morning. The worst part of the ordeal was that because it was so late when we arrived, we all had to spend the night in the airport. The Dallas-Fort Worth airport staff was kind enough to bring us military-style cots, basic pillows and sheets for us to lay down on. However, it is an airport and with the PA announcements, daylight style lights on and people walking all around you, you end up with more of a headache than any form of sleep.

I will not be flying Spirit again. Please avoid at all costs. It really is not worth the time, stress or money to be manipulated and treated like garbage. If the pilots keep this up they won't have airline to work for. Also didn't like that you pay for ANY luggage even one carry on bag. By the time you pay for the add on fees your right back at the same price as other airlines. Then you add the time delays on, and your losing out. Won't be flying this airline again. Cons: "I had a connecting flight so the Plane left without 10 people and me, they had to put us on another flight with another airline. The people working for fhe airline looked dead and didn't care that they already had me waiting for days on a previous flight.

Pros: "Honestly, there was nothing to like. Waited over 3hrs before they finally found me something. Gave me a hotel voucher but when I finally got to the hotel, they had no rooms. The transportation to the hotel cost a fortune because the hotel shuttle would not pick up the phone. They finally put me in a room with someone else from my flight. I got 60 min of sleep before having to return to airport. And, the lady at the hotel kept my food vouchers so I didn't even get to eat the next day. So wrong. I went to my gate and my flight was delayed. Not a big issue it was just delayed by 45 min. Once we boarded we sat there for about 30 to 40 min just to be told the pilot never showed. I was delayed 4 hours not beacuse of weather or plain issue but beacuse the airline could not keep there schedules in order.

How did they not know a pilot was not going to show. How annoying it was to load on a plane to be pulled off again and loaded on again. Worst flight I have ever had and after all that they did not provide a complementary drink or even offer to refund my bag check beacuse of the huge mistake on thee behalf. The soonest they could get me to Phoenix was Saturday with a flight leaving at 3pm. Thanks to them, I missed my guided tour of the grand canyon and my trip got cut an entire day short. The customer service was awful. There was no organization to anything at all, everyone from the flight was in a jumbled up mess at the ticket counter. There were no lines, no communication, and no remorse from spirit at all.

I tried to call their customer service line and was met with one scripted response after the next. After demanding to speak to a supervisor multiple times, I finally got somewhere. There was no refund issued for baggage and this process took 2 and a half hours--remember, we were at the front.
